Education Rights at Welford Primary School

 

Article 12

Children have the right to give their opinion, and for adults to listen and take it seriously.

 

Article 13

Children have the right to find out things and share what they think with others, by talking, drawing, writing or in any other way unless it harms or offends others.

Children have the right to choose their own friends and join or set up groups, as long as it is not harmful to others.

Children have the right to get information that is important to their well-being, from radio, newspaper, books, computers and other sources.

Children have the right to a good quality education. Children should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level they can.

Childrens education should help them to use and develop their talents and abilities, it should help them learn and live peacfully, protecting the environment and respecting other people.
